The 7th International Conference on Hydroelasticity in Marine Technology

Abstract

The International Conference on Hydroelasticity in Marine Technology was initiated in 1994. This is the 7th conference in the series. Particular topics covered in this conference include: (1) wave induced global vibrations (springing, whipping, ringing, etc.), (2) local hydroelastic impacts (sloshing and slamming), (3) line dynamics (risers, mooring lines, umbilicals), (4) flow induced vibrations (VIV, Galloping, VIM), (5) dynamics of very large floating structure, (6) dynamics of aquaculture structures, (7) renewable energy devices dynamic behavior (off shore wind turbines, marine current turbines, wave energy converters, etc.)
