Abstract

The LARS 2015 - 12th Latin American Robotics Symposium and SBR 2015 - 3rd Brazilian Symposium on Robotics aims at promoting a comprehensive scientific meeting in the area of Intelligent Robotics, bringing together researchers, undergraduate and graduate students of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and related areas. These symposia will be held through technical sessions with oral presentations of full papers and technical lectures of recognized importance in the area. The LARS/SBR 2015 can be considered as the most important Latin American Robotics Symposium. The LARS/SBR 2015 are the major scientific/academic events on Robotics Conferences 2015. These conferences also cover the 14th Latin American Robotics Competition (LARC 2015), 13th Competição Brasileira de Robótica (CBR 2015), 9th Olimpíada Brasileira de Robótica (OBR 2015) and Mostra Nacional de Robótica (MNR 2015).The Latin American Robotics Competition (LARC) and the Brazilian Robotics Competition (CBR) are events of autonomous and intelligent robots competitions aimed to disseminate and encourage the application of scientific research in Robotics area, turning it into technology.
