Engine As A Weapon VI International Symposium

Abstract

EAAW is the only symposium in Europe that draws together military, industrial and academic participants to focus on the integration challenges of Naval platforms. This year s event will draw upon UK experiences with current programmes, including the new Aircraft Carriers and Type 26 Global Combat Ship together with learning from recent operational experience of the Type 45 Destroyer and the challenge of updating legacy platforms. This is complemented by papers from Europe and beyond ranging from ship and system design and weapon effects to further combat system integration and the evolving cyber threat. As such, EAAW VI will provide the US Navy with unique, new and invaluable insights into current thinking in ship and submarine system integration; both current developments and future aspirations. In addition to the symposium programme, EAAWVI will provide exceptional networking opportunities to circulate with an international community, make new contacts and continue discussions and debates
