Thailands Military the USA and China
Abstract
The interviews surveys and workshops are intended to provide a balanced understanding of the culture, the mindset, history, strategies and significance of external influences on Thai choices and perceptions concerning force structure, roles and allegiances, and the scope for additional influence by external powers. The multiple reference points over time and various services and rank levels should provide statistically valid samples from which to undertake meaningful analysis and to draw useful conclusions. In addition the data set will be made available to the Minerva Research Initiative for further analysis.
