Abstract

This proposal is for bridge funding to continue to develop work on the human security taxonomy funded under NICOP N62909-14-1-N110 (AD: Jack Callahan) under Rebecca Goolsby (Code 34) can slot the PI into her FY16 program. Dr. Goolsby has $30k of 6.2 funding to support this FY15 effort. The human security taxonomy is intended to define the structure of a semantic database intended to support community response to natural disasters. The initial ontology was developed using Mexico as an case study and will be expanded to include other countries. The FY14 NICOP was regarded as highly successful by Dr. Goolsby and she has pushed for this bridge funding in order to carry the PI over to the beginning of the next FY.
