VSP - Fabrication and characterization of ZrO2-coated SiC nanopillars for surface-enhanced infrared spectral range sensors

Abstract

Proposed visit should strengthen existing collaboration between Power Electronics Branch of the Naval Research Laboratory and the Nanoplasmonics group of Imperial College London. An on-going collaboration covers an actively developing research field of resonant infrared structures based on alternative materials, in particular optical nano-antennas based on polar crystals.
