CSP - Sixth International Workshop on High Energy Physics in the LHC Era (HEP2016)

Abstract

This is a prominent workshop series that has attracted many distinguished speakers in its five previous iterations. Its goal is to bring together young and senior scientists, theorists and experimentalists, to discuss recent progress in high energy and nuclear physics. The scientific program of the workshop will address a broad range of topics covering many areas in physics, such as: Hadron Structure and Spectroscopy, Dark Matter Searches, Neutrino Physics, Higgs Physics and other interesting topics. The variety of subjects addressed in the workshop will attract a good number of theoreticians from Chilean and international institutions, and many representatives of different experimental collaborations, from international laboratories such as: CERN, RHIC, Jefferson Lab, Fermi Lab, etc. The event will offer an excellent opportunity to strengthen the connections between physicists from all around the world and, at the same time, will allow a much broader exposure of the Latin American community to current research in the above topics.
