CSP - 17TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING AND NETWORKING (ICDCN 16)
Abstract
Now in its 17th year, ICDCN is a premier international conference dedicated to addressing advances in Distributed Computing and Communication Networks, which over the years, has become a leading forum for disseminating the latest research results in these fields. ICDCN 2016 will be organized in two tracks: Distributed Computing and Networking, and will comprise a highly selective technical program consisting of refereed concise papers, panel discussions as well as focused workshops on emerging topics. In particualr, ICDCN contains four one-day workshops: ? Comnet-IOT 2016: Fifth International Workshop on Computing and Networking for the Internet of Things ? SCFS 2016: Fourth International Workshop on Security and Forensics in Cyber Space ? UCS 2016: First International Workshop on Urban Crowdsourcing ? uSitu 2016: 1st International Workshop on Understanding Situations Through Multimodal Sensing Its key objectives include: ? Presenting latest research findings related to both technical and social networks, and technologies for large-scale, fault-tolerant, high-performance distributed computing. ? Providing a forum for researchers in the above technical fields (especially researchers from Asia) to participate and interact, and develop new academic concepts and themes ? Providing a forum for interaction between graduate students (from across the world) and leading researchers on the topics of networking and distributed system. The conference proceedings will consist of all refereed papers in the main conference and the 4 co-located workshops. The conference proceedings will be published by the ACM Publishing service, and all papers will be archived in the ACM Digital Library. In addition, (a) the authors of selected best papers in the Distributed Computing track will be invited to submit an extended version of their paper for publication in Elsevier Theoretical Computer Science (TCS - A) journal. (b) the authors of selected best papers in the Networking track will be invited to submit an extended version of their paper for publication in Elsevier Pervasive and Mobile Computing (PMC) journal.
