Abstract
Global change impact on diseases and alien species expansiona. Program will look at infectious disease propagation, with an eye towards the vectors that can carry the disease, particularly invasive species (an example of an invasive vector could be the mosquito Aedes aegypti). b. It s relevance to the Navy is two-fold: one, sailors on missions must avoid getting sick, and two, DOD has been sent on missions to deal with disease outbreaks. Understanding how and why they occur can help planning for both of these scenarios. c. NAMRU 3 (Egypt)and 6 (Peru), Code 34 d. Advanced understanding of the causes of and solutions for disease outbreaks.
