CSP - Jaszowiec 2016 School & Conference
Abstract
Jaszowiec 2016 School & Conference:A. "Jaszowiec" Conference is an annual international meeting of the semiconductor physics community. Representatives from over a dozen of countries participate in the conference and the two-day tutorial session / workshop that precede it. These materials form the basis of numerous modern day electronic and magneto-electronic technologies. B. Basic research in semiconductor physics will help develop new technologies and capabilities for the U.S Navy, Marine Corps, and Department of Defense. Technologies that can benefit from advances made in semiconductor physics include novel sensing materials, solid-state electronics, millimeter wave technologies, power electronics, to name a few. C. This conference has not been coordinated with ONR, other NRE, or other DoD components. D. This conference will provide an opportunity for scientists from around the world to share "new" knowledge in semiconductor physics that can potentially lead to technologies beneficial to the mankind.
