Abstract

Effects of Noise on Aquatic Life 2016:a) The effect of underwater noise on aquatic life is an important issue for the US Navy. support is being sought to defray the costs of attendance at the AN2016 Conference by graduate students from a range of countries, plus visiting scientists from other countries who are lacking in resources to pay for their own participation. The money will be used to pay for conference registration, travel and subsistence and any other costs incurred by these deserving participants. Such participants will beobliged to apply formally to the conference organizers in order to receive this funding, and their applications will be judged by an independent panel.b) The underwater sound scape is very relevant to the performance of the Navy s underwater systems, particularly those that rely on sound transmission and reception.c) Code 32.d) A report of the conference presentations
