CSP - 2nd Colombia-U.S. Workshop on Nanotechnology: Characterization, Metrology, manufacturing and Safety

Abstract

2nd Colombia-U.S. Workshop on Nanotechnology: Characterization, Metrology, manufacturing and Safety: This is a follow on CSP to a very successful event in 2012 with Purdue University and Univ de los Andes among others. The goal of the proposed workshop is to bring back together U.S.-based and Colombian researchers, graduate students, government representatives, and industry to: (1) follow up on thebilateral efforts initiated; (2) share progress on various areas of research; (3) promote students and researchers exchange programs, and (4) to present about ongoing bilateral projects andregional initiatives on nanotechnology. The focus of the second Colombia-US workshop will continue to be on themes of common interest across the Americas including nanotechnology forCharacterization, Metrology, manufacturing and Safety and nanotechnology education. B and C, Nano and material sciences are an interest of ONR Code 33, Julie Christodoulou. C and D, Planning to reach out to Code 33 to offer speaking engagement as well as ultimately the pursuit of a possible NICOP in the future. D, Proceedings will be shared and disseminated.
