CSP - Support for travel of invited speakers and young participants from European and South American countries to two conferences in Nizhny Novgorod University, Russia
Abstract
Support for travel of invited speakers and young participants from European and South American countries to two conferences in Niz:A. This conference will focus on contemporary achievements in the theory of dynamical systems, bifurcation theory, chaotic behavior in dynamical systems, applications of theory of dynamical systems in different branches of physics, engineering, chemistry and biology. There will be three sections: 1) Bifurcations and Strange Attractors, 2) Dynamical Systems with Additional Structures (Hamiltonian, reversible), 3) Applications of Dynamical Systems. The Conference will promote solving complex problems on the behavior of nonlinear dynamical systems, main types of bifurcations and creating methods of their study. The Conference will promote solving complex problems on the behavior of nonlinear dynamical systems, main types of bifurcations and creating methods of their study and to facilitate exchange of new ideas by establishing new international collaborations. B. ONR and the NRE will gain significant benefit due the fact that although these groups of researchers share common problems and even methodology, they never were brought together in the framework of a single one weeklong seminar. Thus, the proposed conference will provide a unique opportunity for exchanging new ideas, establishing new collaborations, starting new research projects. C. Coordination with Dr. Mike Shlesinger of ONR Code 30 D. Desired outcome is to facilitate exchange of new ideas by establishing new international collaborations.
