VSP - Collaborative analysis of observational data collected in the northern East China Sea and joint publication
Abstract
Collaborative analysis of observational data collected in the northern East China Sea and joint~##publication:The Ocean Observation Lab (OOL) at SNU has been working on the analysis of environmental data collected through the joint research cruise between US and Korea during the Sallow-water Acoustics Variability Experiment ~ 2015 that was supported by Dr. Bob Headrick, ONR 322. It would be mutually beneficial for US-Korea to seek for an important aspect of their analysis of environmental data, particularly considering the acoustic propagation variability. They will focus on the impacts of various kinds of nonlinear internal waves observed during the experiment, and their impacts on underwater acoustics in the northern East China Sea. Dr. Hedrick supports collaboration between SNU and Scripps Institution of Oceanography
