CSP - META 16, 7th International Conference on Metamaterials, Photonic Crystals and Plasmonics

Abstract

META 16, 7th International Conference on Metamaterials, Photonic Crystals and PlasmonicsThis conference will cover a broad scope of topics ranging from the fundamental theory of metamaterials, photonic crystals and plasmonics to novel types of sophisticated optical and microwave devices and components. The meeting will provide a venue for the international researchers specializing in a variety of disciplines including electromagnetics, solid state physics, microwave and antenna engineering, optoelectronics, optics, materials science, and nanotechnology to interact as a community. Because of the broad scientific and international participation the meeting is expected to identify cutting edge emerging science and technological opportunities and cultivate collaboration within the international community. Potential applications/payoffs for the NRE include optical communication systems, antennas, high speed circuits, optical sensing, nanoscale imaging and cloaking. The topics covered by this conference support Mark Spector s micro- / opto- electronics program.
