Abstract
Developing a Needleless Suturing Kit for Wound Repair:The purpose of the visit is to meet with Dr. Tim Bentley, ONR 34 and to demonstrate bioglue and biotape products which were fabricated by using ONRG NICOP entitled "Developing a Needleless Suturing Kit for Wound Repair." Besides, Dr. Bentley recommended them to visit Naval Medical Research Center in Silver Spring, MD and Naval Research Lab to engage in research training and sharing of practical application of biomaterials that is available to cover open-wounds. Dr. Hiep Nguyen has been collaborating with ONRG extensively on designing and fabricating a Needleless Suturing Kit that have a great potential on wound protection and regeneration and her research supports Warfighter Performance S&T focus area.
