CSP - Request for CSP for International Symposium"Innovation in Chemical Engineering towards sustainable academic, industrial"
Abstract
Request for CSP for International Symposium"Innovation in Chemical Engineering towards sustainable academic, industrial"The symposium is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and PetroVietnam University, Vietnam and is supported by various local and international organizations. Thetheme of the symposium is ~Innovation in Chemical Engineering towards sustainable development and climate change~. This symposium will provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange information, present new developments, discuss the technological advancement and provide a perspective on the globalization process, industry, and ASEAN global trends. RSCE 2016 will cover most of the fields in Chemical Engineering such as catalyst and reaction engineering, energy and alternative energy; petroleum engineering; environmental and safety technology; food process engineering; biotechnology and bioprocessing; fundamental of chemical engineering and applied chemistrymaterials science and engineering; polymer and petrochemical technology; particle technology; separation technology; process system engineering; and education and industrial cooperation for chemical engineering. b. The US Navy plans to derive half its energy supply from renewables by 2020, for both strategic and environmental imperatives. Technology to collect and store locally-available but intermittent solar, wind, wave or tidal energy can offer naval assets a strategically and tactically important additional capability, in place of exclusive reliance on petroleum fuels. The US Pentagon estimates the cost of refueling forward bases at up to $107 a litre. Today~s defense forces are also often involved in emergency relief and community development missions, where setting up a basic local electricity supply is a first priority. Energy storage will remains a critical component missing from the current technology portfolio and new and improved technologies will be essential to the future of renewable energy. c. Code 33 d. For attendees to develop a realistic integrated plan, the way for collaboration and roadmaps in their own fields. The ideas and suggestions of each group will be presented to all the attendees with an opportunity to discuss and further develop the ideas from the group.
