CSP - Organic Semiconductors Conference 2016
Abstract
1. ABSTRACTThis proposal seeks funds for the first Zing "Conference on Organic Semiconductors". The meeting will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia during September 22nd-25th, 2016. A specifc goal of this meeting is to bring together the most highly cited and impactful scientists from around the world and promote discussions with the attendees so that a new vision of possible applications and technologies can emerge. Indeed, the meeting is more like a workshop than an account of research accomplishments. A strong emphasis is placed on supporting attendance from junior researchers, and in particular students. These young scientists will benefit from participation in a set of scientific discussions that range from molecular design, to solid state physics and to biology.We plan to provide a document to be published in a leading journal that summarizes the main outcome of the debates and discussion. This manuscript will serve as a broadly useful guide for scientists and engineers, both in academia and industry.Zing Conferences are a not-for-profit, Company.
