CSP - XXIX Semana Nacional de Oceanografia

Abstract

The focus of every SNO involves not only Oceanography, but also related areas such as Marine Sciences and Fisheries, Engineering, Ma""rine Biology, Geology, Geophysics and others. Several groups compose the public: students and educators of technical and higher educ""ation; managers and servers of public and private agencies at the municipal, state and federal level; fishing communities, socio-env""ironmental movements and organizations; and oceanography companies. In the 28th SNO, held in the city of Guarapari ~ ES, 2016, appro""ximately 600 people attended the event. In the 29th edition, celebrating the SNO 30th birthday, it is estimated an average audience"" of 800 participants. Among the guests, there are students, professors, also speakers, employers and employees currently in the ocea""nographic field. The event will take place at the Federal University of Maranh~o - S~o Lu~s, MA.
