CSP - The 9th Conference of the Asian Consortium on Computational Materials Science

Abstract

Asian Consortium in Computational Materials Science (ACCMS) was established in2000 to nurture and promote research and development activities in computationalmaterials in Asian countries. The first Asian Consortium on Computational MaterialsScience (ACCMS-1) w"as successfully held in Bangalore, India in 2001. Then, themeeting was held in Russia (Novosibirsk, ACCMS-2 2004), China (Beijing,"" ACCMS-32005), Korea (Seoul, ACCMS-4 2007), Vietnam (Hanoi, ACCMS-5 2009), Singapore(ACCMS-6 2011), Thailand (Nakhon Ratchasima, A""CCMS-7 2013) and Taiwan (Taipei,ACCMS-8 2015). The biannual conference of the 9th Conference of the AsianConsortium of Computation""al Materials Science (ACCMS-9) will take place in KualaLumpur, Malaysia. The ACCMS-9 will be a three full-day meeting on August 9-1""1,2017, that consists of plenary sessions, invited talks, contributed talks and posterpresentation. The topics include development"" in theory and computational method, bioinformatics and materials informatics, materials for energy & environment, nanobiomaterials"" and miosystems, nanodevices, transport & spintronics, nanostructuredmaterials, oxide-based materials, surface & interface, etc. Th""e main objective of thisconference is to bring together computational physicists, chemists, biologists, materialsscientists and in""dustry engineers from universities, institutes and industries to meet andshare scientific experience and recent results. Academicia""ns, scientists, researchers, including graduate students from all over the world are invited to join this conference.
