CSP - UNDERWATER ACOUSTIC MEASUREMENTS TECHNOLOGIES AND RESULTS CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION - UACE2017
Abstract
The 4th Underwater Acoustics Conference & Exhibition (UACE2017) will be held on the Greek islandof Skiathos during the days Sunday" 3rd through Friday 8th September, 2017. (Conference websitewww.uaconferences.org)The conference will focus on underwater acoustic"" measurements, the applied technologies and theresults obtained. As many theoretical and computational predictions are available in"" the field ofunderwater acoustics, and as several important experimental studies ranging from model scale testsin laboratories to"" full scale tests at sea have been performed over the past or are planned to takeplace in the near future, it is timely to review t"he whole field of underwater acoustic measurements. This shall not exclude inputs from theoretical or computational underwater acous"tics, which shall bemost welcome, but emphasis of this conference will be on underwater acoustic measurements. The conference will" comprise plenary sessions with invited keynote lectures. A prominent series ofstructured oral sessions with invited papers given by leading international scientists will beorganized by key persons actively engaged themselves in the fronts of research in underwa"teracoustics. Moreover, most recent research results will be presented in contributed papers formingbasis for regular oral and pos"ter sessions. All papers presented at the conference will be published inProceedings to be made available to all registered partici"pants on the first day of the conference. The Organizing Committee for the UACE2017 includes:John Papadakis, F.O.R.T.H., Greece (Ch""airman)Philippe Blondel, University of Bath, UKDavid Bradley, ARL, Penn State University, USAMike Buckingham, MPL, Scripps, USAQ""ihu Li, Institute of Acoustics, Acad.
