VIB conference Genome Engineering and Synthetic Biology
Abstract
VIB offers a structured program of biannual international conferences on various VIB research areas where we bring together world-renowned scientists and companies whose discoveries are landmarks in life sciences. The conferences facilitate networking and collaborations between scientists.VIB~s Tools and Technologies conference series aims to provide a forum for both academic top speakers and scientists from emerging life science companies to present their latest scientific achievements and exciting technological solution"s. Catalyzed by VIB~s Technology Scouting team, theTools and Technologies meetings focus on the front end of innovation and bring t"ogether key innovators in selected life sciences research fields. Tools and Technologies meetings feature typically a large audience participation from the Life Sciences Industry.On 25-26 January 2018 VIB will organize the 3rd edition of the Tools & Technologies conference ~Genome Engineering and Synthetic Biology. The 1st and 2nd Genome Engineering and Synthetic Biology: Tools and Technologies meeting (GESB) in September 2013 and January 2016 were a roaringsuccess and we are pleased to announce the 3rd edition of GESB" in picturesque Bruges in January, 2018.The conference will look at emerging tools & approaches in the field of: CRISPR and Synthet""ic Biology Tools, Gene and Genome assembly, Targeted Genome Engineering and Design, Genetic Circuits and Regulation and CRISPR Scree""ns. 32 international speakers confirmed for the conference.
