The international conference on Quantum & Nonlinear Optics (QNO2018) will be held at Sunwayhotel, Kuala Lumpur on 2~5 February 2018". The objectives of this conference are:1. To provide a gathering platform for internat""ional scientists, researchers and industries to discussand share advances in quantum and photon science research.2. To facilitate"" the development of quantum optical science and technologies that lead toinnovation, help solve many problems and improve quality o"f lives.3. To share recent progress in quantum and nonlinear optics to this region and introduce thecultural diversities and natural beauties of the hosting country (Malaysia) with the world.This conference connects innovations in laser physics with nanoscience" and nanotechnology wherequantum effects are relevant at nanoscale, with promising future and new possibilities through thefusion"" of photons, atoms, molecules and nanomaterials.The conference is expected to attract a large number of participants and speakers,"" as many internationalscientists, researchers have been invited to this conference. The main highlights are the 10 prominentscient""ists as confirmed Plenary Speakers (USA 3, Canada 1, UK 1, Russia 1, Japan 1, Australia 1, NewZealand 1, France 1) and a number of"" Invited Speakers from various countries, Korea, China, GermanySaudi Arabia, Hungary. Taiwan, Singapore.The registration fee of US"D500 is moderate. We also welcome many students with very affordableregistration fee of USD200 and Best Posters Awards. This is to encourage many young researchers tocome and have fruitful interactions with senior and experienced scientists. Fees for local participants(individuals affiliated to local institutions) are also attractively low: Regular RM 1700 and Students RM800 due to the la"ck of local funding. Participants are entitled to all talks composed of plenary sessionsand parallel sessions, tea breaks, lunch, c"onference dinner and publication (if accepted) in Journal ofPhysics: Conference Series (WoS-ISI).The venue Sunway hotel is strategic in modern and green Sunway township. We have securedpromotional room rates for participants. The conference is managed by local organizing committee withthe consultation of the International Advisory Committee to ensure that we get a good internationalnetworking and high quality talks of a world class conference.
