CSP - The International Workshop on Pattern Recognition in Neuroimaging (PRNI)

Abstract

The 8th International Workshop on International Workshop on PatternRecognition in Neuroimaging (PRNI) is a satellite event of the OHBM annual meetingorganized in cooperation with National University of Singapore, Singapore. The application ofpattern recognition techniques to neuroimaging data has increased substantially in the lastyears leading to a large body of publications. In the recent years, multivariate and predictiveanalysis of neuroimaging data has gained ground very rapidly in the community over the pastdecade, leading to impressive results in cognitive, affective, and clinical neurosciences. ThePRNI workshop is intended to bring together leading researchers in neuroimaging dataanalysis to cover both theoretical and experimental challenges related to multivariatepredictive models of neuroimaging data using e.g. functional/structural MRI, EEG, MEG, ECoGmodalities, efficient algorithms for huge brain imaging datasets, neural disease diagnosis andprognosis, interpretability of pattern recognition models, real-time brain-state decoding, andconnectivity inference.Topics include, but are not limited to:Learning from neuroimaging data??? Online, incremental, and adaptive learning??? Functional brain connectivity Modality combinations??? Optimization and regularization??? Dimensionality reduction??? Sparse modeling??? Graph-based techniques and graphical modelsInterpretability of models and results??? High-dimensional data visualization??? Multivariate and multiple hypothesis testing??? Links between brain structure and function??? Summarization / presentation of inference resultsApplications??? Disease diagnosis and prognosis??? Real-time fMRI??? Resting-state modelling??? Cognitive neurosciences
