CSP - Support for ICIUS 2018

Abstract

The 2018 International Conference on Intelligent Unmanned Systems (ICIUS 2018) will be held inOcean Suites Jeju Hotel, Jeju, South Korea, from August 20th to 23th, 2018. The conference offers a uniqueand interesting platform for scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present and sharetheir most recent research and innovative ideas in the areas of unmanned systems, robotics, automation, andintelligent systems. There will be about 150 participants from at least 10 countries to present 90-100 papers. ICIUS 2018 isright now sponsored by ISME (International Society of Mechatronic Engineering) and ISIUS (InternationalSociety of Intelligent Unmanned Systems) in both.ICIUS is a well-established annual conference, which addresses the rapidly changing state of the art inunmanned systems (including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs),Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs), and Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) etc.), robotics, automation, intelligent systems, biomimetics and provides insights into the paths ahead for fundamentalresearch, device development and technology deployment around the world. The conference represents thehighest pedigree in the fields of intelligent unmanned systems, with high quality content and internationalnetworking. This is the premier global event combining academic excellence with industrial representationswithin the conference, augmented by exhibitions and workshops planned to be held around the conferenceprogram. At this conference, researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners from all over the worldcongregate to exchange knowledge and expertise in the development and innovative applications of all typesof unmanned systems, payload and accompanying systems. The joint-event in 2018 is the 14th conference extending from previous conferences held in Seoul-Korea(2005, 2006), Bali-Indonesia (2007, 2010, 2015), Nanjing-China (2008), Jeju-Korea (2009), Chiba-Japan(2011), Singapore (2012), Jaipur-India (2013), Montreal-Canada (2014), and Xi???an-China (2016), andTamsui-Taiwan (2017). ICIUS2018 will focus on both theory and application primarily covering the topicson robotics, control, intelligent systems and unmanned technologies. The scope of this conference ICIUSmatches with the scientific mission of???Autonomy and Unmanned Systems???mentioned in the Broad AgencyAnnouncement (BAA) of ONR Global
