CSP - The 4th ASEAN Smart Grid Congress (ASGC4)

Abstract

The concerns about global warming due to human enhancement of the greenhouse effect, there is a clearly growing concern about how energy needs are addressed on a sustainable basis.Since the countries in the ASEAN region are richly endowed with renewable energy sources, renewable energy production has become a more attractive option for electricity generation in theregion. With the widely implementation of renewable energy as Energy Disruption, there is anurgent need to create the understand and development in Smart Grid technology through sharingbest practices and regional dialogue.ASEAN Smart Grid Congress (ASGC) is a primary forum in Southeast Asia for experts, scientists and professionals in smart grid technology and policy to meet annually. The meeting hasbeen assigned to ASEAN member institutions to host ASGC in their countries to gather, updateand strengthen our network every year. The last 3 meetings from 2015 - 2017 in Thailand, Malaysiaand Vietnam were successful, the congresses had more than 200 participants from internationalsand distinguished speakers from United States, China, Japan, Austria and ASEAN countries. The 4th ASEAN Smart Grid Congress (ASGC4) will be held in Phitsanulok, Thailand on11 ??? 13 September 2018. The main objectives of the congress are to bring together experts fromvarious fields to share an idea and exchange the knowledge about the current situation as well asthe need of smart grid in ASEAN countries. The 250 participants are accomplished researchers, professors, policy makers, high-level government officials, and industry professionals.
