Abstract
2019 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) is the world premier event that brings together industry, academy, and government agencies to exchange information and ideas on the advancement of wireless communications and networking technology. This is a large scale meeting that covers various aspects of Assured Command and Control part of Information, Cyber, and Spectrum Superiority integrated research portfolio. Particular interest to NRE are such subject areas as - Communication channel modeling, characterization and estimation; - Interference modeling, management, and cancellation; - Energy efficient and energy harvesting physical layer design; - Joint information and energy transmission - Integrated Wireless/Optical Networks - Big Data enabled Self-Organized Networking - Dynamic sensor networks for urban applications Aspects of communication and networking research are at the core of Code 311 portfolio and joint information and energy transmission research is of interest to Code 321. The conference will be held in Marrakesh, Morocco on April 15-18, 2019 and will include participation by notable US, European and Middle Eastern researchers. The meeting will also serve to increase GTA engagement with scientists from Middle East and North Africa. The final decision on the availability of funds is determined by the Technical Director (TD) upon the TD~s approval/disapproval in the PPS grant writing system. The TD can only approve a grant in PPS when sufficient funds are available.
