MEMRISYS 2019
Abstract
The third International Symposium on Memristive Systems (MEMRISYS) is the largest scientific meeting on the theory and applications of memristor devices and systems. It was first held in Athens (Greece) in April 2017, hosting 200 attendees, while last year it took place in Beijing (China) in July, hosting 400 attendees. MEMRISYS was originally established as a European discussion forum on memristor theory and applications within the framework of the ICT COST Action IC1401 on Memristor Devices, Circuits and Systems (MemoCIS). In this regard, the first MEMRISYS took place in Paphos (Cyprus) on November 2015. Given the growing interest in memristors it contributed to give rise to, its Management Committee members decided to give MEMRISYS international visibility by proposing it as a yearly symposium for the presentation of the latest developments in theoretic and practical aspects concerning memristive systems.
