The Women in Robotics Worksop at the R:SS conference is a one-day workshop highlighting the scientific contributions of women in the robotics field.
Abstract
Embodied AI, robotics and human-machine-teaming are high priority areas for the DoD and advances in these areas are critical to national defense. This assembly of exceptional talent will provide an opportunity for recruiting new students, post docs and researchers to US institutions, which will strengthen the US~s position in critical fields of inquiry. The workshop organizers work with NRE researchers and will encourage their participation in the workshop. Participants from Army and USAF will be in attendance as well. This is a good opportunity for exploring ideas and programs of importance to the NRE with an international group of accomplished robotics researchers and technologists.
