PQS2019 - Precision and Quantum Sensing International Workshop

Abstract

The Precision Quantum Sensing (PQS) workshop aims to bring together researchers and industryexperts from around the world to discuss next-generation precision sensing technologies ~ with aparticular focus on quantum sensing approaches that can demonstrate a useful increase inaccuracy or precision. Particular focus will be placed on applications in a defence context.Keynote speakers include: Fedor Jelezko (Ulm University, Germany), Susannah Jones (DSLT,UK), John Kitching (NIST Boulder, US), Laura Sinclair (NIST Boulder, US), Eleanor Waxman(NIST Boulder, US) and Ron Walsworth (Harvard, US).This workshop will be a fantastic opportunity for the newly appointed ONRG representative inAustralia as well as for Dr James Troupe, ONRG Science Director Quantum (UK) to meet keyAustralian (and invited international) researchers and industry experts in this field. We would behappy to allow for time at the workshop dinner for ONR-G to present on how it sees itsengagement with the Australian community.
