First Workshop on Molecular Quantum Technology MQT 2019
Abstract
The 1st Workshop on Molecular Quantum Technology (http://mqt2019.org) ispart of a global effort to build collaborative international expertise and exploreemerging opportunities for developing scalable integrated quantum technology.The overall theme of this workshop is to identify key research challenges andopportunities for near-term implementations of protocols in quantum sensing,quantum communication and quantum information processing based on thepassive and active control of molecules and molecular materials. Contributionsaiming to exploit currently available quantum technology to enable novelmolecular spectroscopy and materials research will also be encouraged. Focuswill be given to the potential integration of different material systems (e.g.,molecular spin qubits, cold molecules) and platforms (e.g. optical microcavities,plasmon waveguides) for the implementation of quantum technology protocols
