VII Ultrafast Dynamics and Metastability and Ultrafast Bandgap Photonics

Abstract

Symposium comprising two closely related Conferences - Ultrafast BandgapPhotonics and Ultrafast Dynamics and Metastability of Transient States. Themotivation for these Conferences initiated in 2016 is a growing interest in athermalnon-equilibrium in electronic, magnetic, and optical states induced by ultrashortstimuli in condensed matter, and rapidly expanding applications of induced transientstates. The discussed topics ranging from Floquet-modeled transient topologicalmetamaterials to electronic, magnet and optics transient effects and related energysources, while the phenomena stretch from photo-induced superconductivity to nonconventionalsensing. The Conference builds a bridge between cutting edge modernphysics and emerging applications which are desperately in need. Conference isvertically integrated, covering area of interaction of high intensity and relatively lowenergy pulses with condensed matter, from fundamental physics to practicallyapplicable energy sources, devices and technologies.
