KOZWaves 2020: The 4th Australasian conference on wave science Special Session on Water Waves
Abstract
KOZWaves is the Australasian Conference on Wave Science. From 16 February to 19 February, 2020, the 4th KOZWaves will be held at the University of Melbourne (Australia). The conference provides a unique forum for contemporary research on wave science to be disseminated between the different branches of wave theory and its applications. Major topics that will be discussed at the conference include; acoustic, climate, electromagnetism, hydrodynamics, oceanography, sensing and optics among others. The conference will bring together experts from the industry, government research facilities (including the Australian Defence Science and Technology Group) and the higher education sector, promoting interdisciplinary collaborations between Australasian wave scientists and leading international experts. The forum has been advertised globally with significant interest and participation from international delegates. In the past, at least 5% of the delegates at KOZWaves Conferences were from the U.S. institutions.
