Extending the applicability of the ecological dynamics framework to measuring and understanding team performance in a military setting
Abstract

The ecological dynamics framework helps to understand how a constant interactionwith the environment allows individuals within teams to work cooperatively to achieve tasks goals. More specifically, it has been shown that environment allows individuals within teams to work cooperatively to achieve tasksgoals. More specifically, it has been shown that individuals within teams can coordinate their actions by constantly exchanging information with their environment (i.e. their surro individuals within teams can coordinate theiractions by constantly exchanging information with their environment (i.e. their surroundings, the actions of others, etc.) in order to reach a predetermined action goal. The ecologicaldynamics approach has been applied extensively to sport, in order to describe, understand and manipulate the tactical performance of teams. However, despite havinged extensively to sport, in order to describe, understandand manipulate the tactical performance of teams.
