Non Collaborative Object Analytics nCOA

Abstract

The main goal of the Project "Non-Collaborative Object Analytics" (nCOA) is to establish foundations for sensor radar networks and d,evelop techniques for tracking dynamics and extracting analytics of non-collaborative (device-free) target objects in complex wirele,ss environments. Based on theoretical foundations, algorithms for tracking dynamics and extracting analytics will be developed and v,erified with off-the-shelf hardware in wireless environments. The ability to track dynamics and extract analytics of non-collaborati,ve target objects is essential for situational awareness and information superiority in GPS challenged environments. Both semi-cove,rt operations employing dedicated sources and covert operations employing signals of opportunity need to rely on signals backscatter,ed from non-collaborative targets. The outcomes of nCOA will enable covert and semi-covert operations, providing situational awarene,ss and information superiority in GPS-challenged environments.
