UNDERWATER COMMUNICATION AND NETWORK (UCOMMS) 2022 CONFERENCE

Abstract

The mission of the UComms conference series is to promote the development and deep understanding of a full range of interests from t,he communication channels (acoustic optical,radio) through to network protocols and experimentation.The conference is organised by t,he NATO Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) and is open to all involved in research, development, implementation, and use ofunderwater communication systems.We are looking at contributions that can advance the state?of?the?art in underwater comm,unications. Disruptive and innovative approaches are of particular interest.Contributions will be in the form of short papers (no mo,re than 4 pages plus references) that will undergo rigorous peer review by an international technical committee.Accepted and present,ed papers will be made available in conference proceedings with the intention to publish online in IEEE Xplore.Papers may also be la,ter expanded into a full article for submission to the IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering for publication in a Special Collection a,fter the event.The conference will have structured sessions (single track) organised by leaders of the field that will ensure a high, technical standard
