Meeting of the Minds: Reimagining the Education
Abstract
Meeting of Minds entitled ?Reimagining Education? (also referred as ?Conference?) aims to create a platform for idea and expertise e,xchange about the future of education and what kind of education system should be structured that will implement the most efficient,solutions for organizing a child?s learning process and create an efficient environment for continuously nurturing talents that can,become scientists and innovators in the future.The Conference outcomes will supplement the research that is planned by the FAST and,aims to result in the development of a transformational model from early childhood education for nurturing STEM talents that will be, piloted in Armenia. After the pilots and thorough evaluation, the best educational solutions can be exported to other countries.The, Conference is planned to be a two-day session outside of Yerevan that will host about 20 world-known experts from different fields,to share their expertise and revolutionary ideas around building an efficient educational system that serves the best future societi,es. The participants will be education specialists, scientists, innovators, industry leaders, policymakers, and other ?thought leade,rs? with background knowledge and connections that will enable them to contribute to an interesting dialogue and idea generation abo,ut the chosen topic.The sessions will include the following activities: 1. Thought-provoking discussions about near and far future t,o invigorate the thinking. Each session will last up to 1 hour.2. Open debates about the future of education and provocative topics,with a smaller group of experts from different fields.3. Exploring and co-creation sessions with diversified expert groups aiming to, develop actionable ideas to bring a change into the education system.
