SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SUMMIT

Abstract

The technical and scientific objectives of the program or event: a. Disseminating the latest advanc,es in basic science and engineering b. Foster cooperation between various scientific disciplines of basic sciences c. Foster cooperation between basic science and engineering d. Fostering collaboration between scientists of various countries e. Creating synergy between various scientific disciplines and joint research projectsr. Specify how this event or related outcomes will contribute to or support the US Naval or Marine Corp Science & Technology Plan and identify specific focus areas that will be addressed. The event will contribute and support US Naval or Marine Corp Science & Technology Plan by addressing specific areas of nanotechnology, nanomat, erials, intelligent materials, physics and related disciplines. A specific table of correspondence of the symposium topics and Navy, and Marine Corps Science and Technology is prepared to foster the synergy 3. Identify the names of invited speakers and/or distinguished guests including any Office of Naval Research Program Officers or other Naval Research Enterprise (NRE) personnel that are expec, ted to participate in this event. The following Nobel laureates in Physics and Chemistry have confirmed their presence: Sir Konstantin Novoselov, 2010 Nobel Laureate in Physics (Graphene), Prof. Didier Queloz, 2019 Nobel Laureate in Physics: formation of life chemical building block; Prof. Dan Shechtman, 2011 Nobel Laureate Chemistry: Quasi periodic materials; Prof. Kurt Wthrich, 2002 Nobel Laureate Chemistry: nuclear magnetic resonance; Prof. Aaron Ciechanover, 2004 Nobel Laureate ? Chemistry: ubiquitin; Prof. Av,ram Hershko, 2004 Nobel Laureate ? Chemistry: ubiquitin; Sir Richard Roberts, 1993 Nobel Laureate ? Medicine: introns in eukaryotic,DNA? Numerous other symposiums plenary and keynote invited speakers are given in the excel sheet attached? Chagaan Batar, Science Di,rector, Nanoscience 4. State the desired outcomes of this event ? Identifying and solving key research challenges that make th,e fundamental scientific articles remain in library without seeing the light of application ? Identifying potential new researc,h areas and multidisciplinary research cooperation? Publishing conference proceedings, ? Publishing the best articles as special num, bers in scientific journal articles\
