Workshop on Trusted Artificial Intelligence
Abstract
Given the increase in the incorporation of solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) to support or automate decision-making in different spheres, such as the private sector, government and defense, the country is currently updating the National Artificial Intelligence Policy supported by UNESCO which released the recommendation document on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence in November 2021, and which has already been adopted by 193 countries.Advancements in AI have demonstrated the ability to transform every sector of modern society, but it is imperative that this technology is consistent with our national values, shared democratic ideals and our steadfast commitment to lawful and ethical behavior. Yet we see few spaces where women who are being trained in AI, and those who are already in the workplace, can be trained to be prepared for the new requirements or regulations of the transformation to take place within the next five years.
