International Conference for Future Language Learning
Abstract
ICFULL is a two-year old conference organized by the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education. It brings together about 60 researchers from the Asia-Pacific region (Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and others) who specialized in computer-based learning related to language, to include writing, reading, cross-cultural communications, English as a Second/Foreign language, and so on. The conference is held in May or June and lasts for about 3 days. It has a single track composed of keynote talks and paper presentations. Authors submit either full papers or extended abstracts. Both are double-blind peer reviewed with focus on the originality and quality of the work. All accepted papers are published in ISBN-coded proceedings.The first ICFULL conference, held in 2022, was hosted by the Education University of Hong Kong. It was heldonline. The second, held in 2023, was hosted by Beijing Normal University. It was held onsite. Each conferencewelcomed approximately 60 attendees.The 2024 host is the Ateneo de Manila University (www.ateneo.edu), a 160-year old university in Quezon City,Metro Manila, Philippines. Ateneo is the highest ranking Philippine university in the 2023 Times HigherEducation World University Rankings. It has a long track record of hosting international events includingthe International Conference for Computers in Education in 2018.
