The US Japan Seminar on Dielectric and Piezoelectric Ceramics

Abstract

The US-Japan Seminar on Dielectric and Piezoelectric Ceramics was initiated under the support of US Navy by Dr. L.E. Cross at Pennsylvania State University and Dr. Kiyoshi Okazaki at National Defence Academy of Japan in 1981. With 43 years of history of joint meeting between the two nations, the 21st Seminar will be held at Hotel Danrokan, Kofu, Japan, November 10-13, 2024. The objective of the US-Japan Seminar is to enhance the friendship of researchers and engineers in the field of dielectric and piezoelectric ceramics in the two nations by discussing their latest research achievements. The sessions typically consist of invited oral presentations and3 minutes presentations followed by poster viewing and discussion at the poster site. The presentations are categorized under the following groupings: A: Basic Science & Characterization of Structure and PropertiesB: MLCC High-Power Electric and High-Frequency DielectricsC: New Materials, Synthesis and Properties for Energy and Environmental IssuesD: Piezoelectric Materials and Their ApplicationsE: Material Science, Integration and Application of Thin Films
