Workshop on multiscale, multiphysics and multidisciplinary research on materials and structures
Abstract
We propose to organize a workshop to bring together international experts on multiscale, multiphysics, and multidisciplinary research in materials and structures to exchange state-of-the-art technology in topical areas and discuss future directions.The proposed workshop will be jointly organized by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey (NPS). The 3-day workshop will be held in Singapore between December of 2024. to December 2025.A financial sponsorship of USD41,000 is requestedfrom ONR Global. We plan to invite about 24 experts and open the workshop to other participants. The total number of participants will not be more than 100. The funds received from ONR will be used to defray the travel cost and/or accommodation of invited speakers, organization of the workshop,facility rental, etc.
