Singapore Space Symposium (SSS) 2025

Abstract

The 7th edition of the Singapore Space Symposium (SSS) 2025 aims to bring together local academic institutions, industry and leading scientists from around the globe to discuss the latest advancements and future directions in space research and technology. This symposium will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and networking, fostering innovation and development in the space industry. The National University of Singapore (NUS) is the hosting institution for SSS 2025, and the Satellite Technology andResearch Centre (STAR) would be representing NUS to host and facilitate the event.SSS 2025 will highlight Singapore#s commitment toadvancing space technology and research. In addition, it would serve:# To facilitate the exchange of cutting-edge research and technological advancements in the field of space exploration and technology.# To provide opportunities for networking and collaboration among international and local researchers, industry professionals# To promote Singapore as a hub for space research and innovation in the Asia-Pacific region.# To inspire and educate the next generation of space scientists and engineers through keynote speeches and panel discussions.# To identify Space Technology S&T gaps# To promote collaboration on basic research with ONR GlobalThe preliminary list of invited speakers and/or distinguished guests who are expected to participate in this symposium would be made available inthe SSS website including Dr Stephen Turner, Science Director, Office of Naval Research Global, US Embassy Singapore.
