Pulse Based Syntactic Algorithms for Speech Processing & FPGA Implementation.

Abstract

This research is to demonstrate algebraic algorithms on pulse trains that can be obtained directly from continuous analog signals without analog-to-digital converters (ADC). The anticipated publice purpose is to derive a technology that can be faster and more energy efficient than current Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC) that are used in current commercial electronics such as cell phones, computers, personal gaming systems, etc.
