HIV/AIDS PREVENTION PROGRAM BOTSWANA
Abstract
The purpose of the grant is to provide consultation services on the design and implementation of the ISO 15189:2012 Medical Laboratory Quality Management Systems, implementation and assessment phases for Selibe-Phikwe and Francistown BDF Hospital Laboratories. PEPFAR Botswana supports the BDF on the SLAMTA Program (Strengthening of Laboratory Management towards Accreditation). The funding will cover a total of 4 phases as per Grantee’s quotation, see Attachment 1. Ongoing HIV/AIDS interventions will be intensified and expanded due to the assistance provided by the Grantee. This grant is being supported by the President s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the Department of Defense HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP) under the terms of N68171-15-1-0024.
