HIV/AIDS PREVENTION PROGRAM SERBIA

Abstract

The purpose of the grant is to provide assistance for the acquisition of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for Pneumocystis jirovecii, PCR tests for Cryptococcus, tests for genetic resistance to antiretroviral treatments (ARVs), and PCR tests for detection of human leukocyte antigen HLA-B5701 alleles. Ongoing HIV/AIDS interventions will be intensified and expanded due to the assistance provided by the Grantee. This grant is supported by the President s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the Department of Defense HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP) under the terms of N68171-15-1-0060.
