HIV/AIDS Prevention Program Vietnam

Abstract

VNA will implement project’s activities in 12 months, expectedly from November 01, 2017 to October 31, 2018 with the following national and military priority activities: 1) Support nursing and infection control program at National and military levels: review and update the training curriculum and materials on Counseling and Health Education focused on HIV/AIDS, Infection control and related issues, Nursing Leadership and Management, Patient Safety and patient care standard, and Anti-Stigma and Discrimination to people with HIV/AIDS, that can be used at civilian and military nursing intuitions; continue strengthening capacity for military and civilian medical/nursing staffs on above topics; maintain the Nursing care model focused on Standards of Patient Care at selected key military and civilian hospitals for lesson learned and evidences for policy development ; 2) Implement the Quality Management program across military blood transfusion and clinical Lab systems and 3) Strengthen capacity for Nursing Consultation and Services (CNCS)/VNA and Military Medical Department/Department of Defense (MMD/MoD) on transferring the policies and monitoring and evaluation.
