UAV Deployed Microbuoys for Arctic Sensing

Abstract

This project will utilize the air deployed microbuoy (ADMB) system for a concept study to address the customer’s need for a for low-cost, rapidly-deployable, environmentally friendly, unmanned sensor systems, including deployment and data reach-back from above the Arctic Circle that can detect, track and identify surface and subsurface targets.
