Computationally Designed IL-10 Mutants for the Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases
Abstract
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a common public health problem affecting millions of Americans including military Service Members and Veterans. This project takes the advantages of cutting-edge technologies of computational protein design and advanced gene therapy in drug discovery and delivery areas to develop novel drugs with higher efficacy and safety profile for the treatment of IBD. Successful completion of this project will pave the way for their clinical applications.
