NORTH RUNWAY HILL TREE REMOVAL PROJECT
Abstract
The goal of this project is to prepare sites designated for disposal of clean soil material from North Runway Hill Removal Project in a timely manner so that no adverse impact to the project schedule is incurred. This scope of work is intended to direct efforts to clear standing woody vegetation from the excavation material disposal areas. Trees and tall woody shrubs must be felled mechanically or by hand, depending on field conditions. Any and all salvageable forest products remain the property of JBER, e.g., birch and white or black spruce trees with a breast height diameter (DBH) of 4 inches or greater is considered salvageable firewood.
